Mandleshwar is on the banks of a holy river Narmada. Ram Ghat is located is at a narrow point of the Narmada River where, during monsoon, the river often rises 60 feet (18 m) above its normal level.  A flight of 123 steps lead down to the river where temples are located.  Maheshwar ghat and dam is nearby.

Farming is the mainstay of the area. Nearby there are farms on both banks of Narmada. We have identified locations for a pilot. We also analyzed 992 farms. The carousal shows a map of area with fields identified, individual electric demand and a proposed electric micro gird.  Each participating farmer receives a payment as in Carbon Dividend Claim Voucher.
